North Star — A new identity for cold-chain logistics
A wordmark and motion system for a logistics operator moving away from corporate beige and into something with a pulse.
The work
The brief was modest on paper and enormous in practice: take an industry that has been visually dormant for thirty years and give it a voice that doesn’t sound like a quarterly report. We started with the wordmark — a custom geometric sans cut against a softer humanist counter — and worked outward from there.
The motion system was built around a single idea: things moving north. Every transition, every loading state, every chart axis carries that logic. It’s never explicit, but it’s always there.
