Challenge
After its EMEA Explore event in Barcelona, VMware retained a significant volume of backdrop fabric and murals. To prevent these materials from reaching a landfill, VMware engaged inevidence to find a sustainable method to repurpose and donate them.
Our Response
We collaborated to redirect these materials to under-resourced schools in South Africa. By reimagining the fabric's potential, the team managed to:
- Brighten classrooms, create inspiring large scale wall artwork.
- Produce durable, practical book bags for at-risk children.
This initiative transformed temporary displays into valuable educational resources and vibrant learning environments, encouraged student attendance, and supported community development in underprivileged areas.
